Gathering Information
The right information, skillfully collected, can provide the knowledge leaders need to help chart a course for action. Consensus collects data – for public policy studies and client projects – using a variety of methods: - Focus groups - Focus groups give you a window into people’s thinking about your product, initiative or service. There is no attempt to gain agreement or change people’s thinking – it’s simply a cost-effective method for getting feedback.
- Surveys - Surveys supplement other citizen engagement or data gathering methods by providing access to people who might not attend a meeting or focus group.
- Stakeholder interviews - One-on-one interviews with key stakeholders often yield thoughts that individuals wouldn’t share in a group setting.
- Expert interviews - Consensus is proficient at identifying the right experts, structuring and conducting the interview and providing accurate documentation.
- Secondary research - We know our way around the library and Internet. Consensus can take even very complicated documents and compile the data in a readable summary for busy leaders or laypersons.
